COLD/Enterprise Report & Output Management

ds32.cold/erm solutions were first installed for our clients ten years ago. Since then, they have become an acknowledged market leader. COLD/ERM (computer output to laser disk/enterprise report management) addresses the issues arising from the need to archive and manage large volumes of computer generated output; for example, applications such as Invoices, Statements, Audit Trails, Confirmations, EDI and EFT Messages, Ledgers, Internal and Regulatory Reports.

Data is downloaded (typically overnight) from the host processor (mainframe iseries etc) and automatically indexed according to Customer pre-defined index fields. Once this process is complete, users will have immediate secure multi-user desktop access to the information, rather than having to manage reams of paper and microfiche. This results in:

Once retrieved, the required information may be immediately viewed, faxed, printed or e-mailed, directly from the screen. Data may also be exported to other applications, such as spreadsheets, safe in the knowledge that the original is permanently archived to optical storage and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements are met.

ds32.pdf provides the additional ability to securely index, archive, search, view and export information contained within print streams which originated as, or have been converted to, PDF. Documents are presented in page-fidelity - viewed exactly as created - with full text, fonts, formatting, graphics and colour preserved, regardless of the application and platform used to create the output.

With the increase in ever more intelligent and graphical output for Customer facing documents such as Invoices & Statements, and Internal Reports, Adobe® Systems PDF has become recognised as the single standard for document production and distribution.
