ds32.imaging is a powerful enterprise-wide solution, designed to electronically capture paper-based information, and then securely archive, manage and retrieve the documents in electronic format.
Paper documents are scanned via industry standard hardware such as Fujitsu, Canon & Kodak. Documents may be scanned individually, in batches, automatically or remotely via fax. Where volumes are high, Clients may consider a third party scanning bureau to complete the scanning and indexing process. The bureau will then deliver a ds32-ready CD for simple uploading into the system.
Typical ds32.imaging applications include Application Forms, Signed Delivery Notes (Proof of Delivery), Accounts Payable and Client Correspondence.
ds32.imaging supports all forms of recognition technologies, including OCR, ICR and Bar Code. Integration with line of business applications and with external databases shortens and simplifies the indexing process, by ensuring that data is input just once.
Once documents have been stored, they may be retrieved via Windows 2000, XP or Browser client, via Internet and company Intranet, within seconds. Users may then annotate or append notes. Anything that could have been edited or actioned on a paper document now has the same functionality on it's electronic replacement.
Integration with ds32.cold/erm provides an opportunity to view computer generated output and scanned images side by side, for example, Invoices and their associated Delivery Notes (POD's) or Statements and Cheques.
