DataStore®32 in Stockbroking and Wealth Management

Charles Stanley are one of the longest established UK brokers. DataStore®32 was initially deployed at the London Head Office to address two major issues; the space occupied by paper files and Disaster Recovery (BCP). The system has evolved across their entire branch network, providing a single point repository for all paper based and electronic documents and records, whilst satisfying the retention requirements defined by their compliance department. Integration with their core line-of-business application enhances the service their stockbrokers are able to offer their clients.

Cheviot has taken traditional Stockbroking and moved it forward for the 21st century, building on values established over generations. DataStore®32 was deployed at start-up, to ensure that all Client documentation (KYC, AML, Agreements, Correspondence, Valuations and Statements) is securely stored within a single point repository. Integration with their core line- of-business application enhances the service their stockbrokers are able to offer their clients.
Formed in 1991, Brooks Macdonald Group plc is an integrated private client discretionary asset management and financial advisory group. DataStore®32 has been integrated with their outsourced line-of-business application to provide secure electronic document storage and retrieval for all Client documentation. Documents can be indexed and uploaded from the user’s desktop to the DataStore®32 server located at the outsourced datacenter. The e-documents are accessed via the outsourced line-of-business application.
Rensburg Sheppards is one of the major UK investment management companies. In 2005,
the acquisition of Carr Sheppards Crosthwaite saw Rensburg merge with three of the oldest names on the London Stock Exchange. DataStore®32 was originally deployed in 1996 at (Carr Sheppards) to securely archive the output from their line-of-business application and
has evolved to encompass all Client documentation.
