Svenska Handelsbanken, a worldwide retail bank headquartered in Sweden and with over 50 branches in the UK were one of the early adopters of DataStore back in 1991.

DataStore was originally implemented to archive and retrieve computer generated information such as Statements and Internal and Regulatory Reports.

Following many regular updates over the last 18 years, Svenska are now upgrading further to include the document scanning module to replace an ageing legacy system, and also MS Office and PDF archiving capabilities.
