Hitec Laboratories, the leader in software solutions for information governance and management, today revealed how Rutland County Council’s implementation of Hitec’s Ten Performance Manager had brought major operational benefits across the board. In particular, the system has provided management with an enhanced level of reporting information on key indicators and action plans.

Hitec’s Ten Performance Manager provides a Strategic Performance Management platform to help drive efficiencies and business improvement through better, well informed decision-making. For Rutland County Council the approach taken was firstly to build the system from the ground up to provide corporate-level insights into the council’s performance, incorporating dashboards and management information.

The next step was to extend it to the directorates for both Adult Services and Children and Young People’s Services, adapting it to meet the directorates’ specific requirements.

“Overall the Ten Risk Manager system has given us a significant step up in how the council can capture, analyse and display performance information,” said Helen Briggs, CEO. “Rather than being limited to basic performance monitoring, it’s now supporting the senior management team focus on effective performance management and efficient reporting, which has been our goal all along.”
